Hi folks!  I'm a Troubadour, a Festival Virgin, planning to arrive on Wednesday evening.  I'd like to connect with some folks at Town Park, introduce myself, and perhaps find a camp to hang in for the weekend.  Any folks out there who might offer a virgin songwriter a patch of ground?  I'll be bringing along a tent, a girlfriend and a guitar.  Not necessarily in that order.

Cheers,
Mike Mo

So wednesday is a great day to arrive, we have a birthday party at Smugglers in town, then Rummmmmbaaaallls (rumballs) at the MASH tent that evening, then you've got Yonder at the Sheridan. A great time to meet new people and get acclimated to the festival. We are staying at the point, in TP just behind the bathrooms to the left. If there is room you can always join us. I heard we have a nice 10x20 jam tent set up in our area this year thanks to Blaine. Come join us, sing a little song, play a little guitar. Enjoy a few beverages Cheers

I'm a member of Run-A-Muck Mike... and they are a very friendly group of people.  There's always room for a Troubadour (we've hosted many over the years), and in fact room for your tent as well, now that I have procured a vehicle pass.  Ask for Karl, Jerry the Hippy, myself, or ask anyone where Run-A-Muck is...

Also, if there's room, I know Bevin generally has extra space at Camp Totally Lit, and there's good jamming at the Tiki Bar, Fishbone and Steamboat.  You can take a walk around and see which of the camps seem like "home"...

Although to most of us... Telluride is our block and Town Park is HOME!!

Safe travels!

xoxo Rhonny

P.S.  The response to your post, with invites and salutations, would have been overwhelming were it not for the fact that a lot of the big camps are already IN Town Park, preparing for tomorrow mornings land rush!  So the list is a bit lean by now...

Get in early on Wednesday, look us up and we'll show you how real festivals are done!  Wednesday is a fun, fun day... if you imbibe, that is!   Cheers

Hi, I'm a fellow Troubadour, will look for all of the above (below?) and Mike, looking forward to meeting / playing alongside you! Thanks for the advice. Arriving Wed afternoon, I think at that point the double decker tenting starts setting up. cheers, lara
