Maybe it's the entrance to the new campground. LOL

Well, there used to be camping across the highway on the south side of the valley floor until the kibosh was put on that.

Did you also get to see the giant construction project just to the south of the Village Market & BIT?

It seemed like half the town was under construction.
Trying to get around town was a real chore, but it's better to have it going on now than in June.  LOL

Trying to get around town was a real chore, but it's better to have it going on now than in June.  LOL

Yeah, it does seem that way ... and especially felt it this off-season way more so than in previous years.

The town definitely tries its very best to not have big municipal construction projects that can affect visitors in the midst of festivals, but there's nothing stopping private development.  That one that I mentioned just happens to be one of the bigger ones and I know there's more in the pipeline.  I believe the hotel next to the post office is going to start soon ... and that's right next to TP.
