We lost Col. Bruce during his 70th BDay concert last night!! The Great Unknown just got a little weirder!

This might be morbid, but I keep thinking about the Col.'s passing. I'm not happy that he's gone at all, but what a way to go ... during the "Turn On Your Lovelight" encore at your own public birthday party, literally surrounded by great musicians who are celebrating you, partying with fans who love you. It's surreal.

I feel exactly the same way. Wouldn't have imagined the Col.'s exit being any other way!

Exactly my thoughts... I hope those guys don't take, or feel any heat for continuing to play after he fell for a few minutes.  Sounds as if he joked around like that often?
I was watching the stream earlier and it was fine! Did not hear about this until this morning. He surely left us from his happy place!  Cheers SKOL Col.Bruce!  Flower

i ordered the dvd "basically frightened" after i heard about his passing at this show. anyone seen that dvd? it's been on my want list for a long time now. i never got to see him play but i know how respected he was with many musicians who i admire.

indeed a crazy way to go out of this world. i just can't imagine what his musician friends, who played at the show, went through that night...to be on such a massive HIGH, all celebrating, and then having to deal with a greater more massive LOW. ugh

RIP CBH....he sure knew he was loved by many !!
