Howdie everybody, so excited for the this year's RG, can't believe its only a couple weeks away. I have attended this festival for about 5 years now, and this year I get extra added benefit of introducing my 2 amazing parents to the wonderful family of Bluegrass! I purchased them 2 Saturday day passes and now I have come to a slight dilemma..  From years past I know that they reserve camping for folks who have a 3 pass, to ensure that festivarians all have a place to set up shop. But this year, their seems to be an abundance of camping still available. My parents would really like to join me at the campsite through out the day and spend the evening in the same tent, perhaps the evening before to make sure they are ready when the gates open. Originally they were going to rough it in the vehicle, but I know the Lyons isn't too thrilled about street car camping for the weekend and with the status of camp sites, I am really stumped on what the best option is. Does anyone have ideas? I know usually volunteers and staff are pretty good about being easy going but I don't want to take advantage either. Should I buy 2 camp passes and try it out?? Thanks for all your input!!
