Last year's announcement dates

If you're like me, the day you want Ferg to announce the lineup is the Monday after every year's fest.  Why do we have to wait?!?!

But we do have to wait.  Reminds me that I'm just like a kid after thanksgiving:  "when is Santa coming?!?!?!"

So to settle myself and others like me down a bit, I did some quick research to see when the announcements came down last year.  Here's what I found:

Initial announcement (with MANY holes yet to be filled in):  December 19

Announcement of who is NOT filling those holes:  February 26

Final lineup announcement:  March 10

NightGrass lineup and lottery:  April 3

FirstGrass lineup:  May 13

Workshop lineup:  have NOT been able to find this announcement

All in all, it looks like we've got some waiting to do...

Good man. That analysis is just what i needed. Calm down, it wont be for a couple of weeks, got it.

ps, am in SF for NYE and Mexico first week of Feb....trying so hard to catch Greensky on one of these super quick visits

I just got one of those "On This Day" things on my Facebook page.  On December 10, 2010, I posted something about how awesome the lineup was that year, so it's been earlier in the past.

That said, I'm just going to try to be patient!
