As of October 5th, 2010, The Town of Telluride has amended Local Code, Article 7, to include the following,
:green "PROHIBITION ON DISPOSABLE PLASTIC BAGS  :green
:green and Maintaining Certain Standards and a Fee for the Use of Permitted Paper Bags"  :green



Over the last several years we've all been "encouraged" to take our own bags when we go shopping.
I  Clap Clap Clap The Town of Telluride for taking this matter to the next level!  Thumbs Up


Don't forget your re-usable shopping bags when you're "Packin' for Telluride"!!!

I always keep a bunch of reusable bags in my Jeep, I'll be sure to leave them in when packing for TBF.
