Parking question

A buddy and I are coming in for all 3 days for our first Folks Festival (coming from Indiana & Maryland).  We are camping in the Meadow Park campground all 3 days and and have purchased a parking pass to have our car near the tents. 
I have a few questions:
1) Is one allowed to drive in and out during the festival.  Buddy and I thinking of going out during the day Friday or Saturday for a bit of hiking, so would need the car.
2) Also in regards parking in Meadow Park, are the cars packed in like sardines...we need to leave for flights out of Denver fairly early on Monday...will the logistics of getting the car out be an issue?
3) Are cars near enough to one's tents to store coolers, gear, etc. in the car and still have relatively convenient access?
4) Lastly, I have searched everywhere on this site and others in regards this.  My buddy and I selected Folks this year for the music (just saw Isbell 2 weeks ago and AMAZING!) as well as the relatively recent changes in Colorado law.  Wondering, what is the general perception, acceptance, etc. of indulging in some of Colorados natural herb resources in the camping and/or festival areas?  We certainly do not want to be "uncool" with whatever the accepted scene is at this event.

A few answers for ya:
You should be able to come and go from the Meadow Park parking lot.  At least, I see folks show up throughout the weekend.  Meadow Park has a regular parking lot so everyone should have their own space.  You can definitely physically get your car in and out.  As far as your flight out, you won't have any issue.  Your car will be close enough to store gear in.  I wouldn't store your cooler in there as it gets super hot sometimes.  We all leave our stuff at camp and rely on the good nature of the folks around us to keep out of our stuff.  This works well.
Natural resources... It is only legal to partake in your own house (or porch), not in public areas.  You can have it on you however. 
That being said, Isee and smell people partaking all over Denver .  I am no longer suspicious of a run over skunk.  I wouldn't say the FF is any more cloudy than anywhere else, but probably no less.  I would definitely keep an eye out for kiddos should you decide to partake.  There are lots of kids and that won't go over well.

We are staying in different camping areas, so I can't really help you, but I wanted to introduce myself--I'm Christie from Indianapolis, and my best friend is your sister Julie!  I currently live in Albuq and will be at the festival all 3 days with my boyfriend Jack.  I've asked Julie to try to connect us so we can say hi or possibly hang out at the festival!  I love coincidences like this!

This is our first Folks Festival, but I have been to Bonnaroo and a few other smaller ones over the years.  Picked this one cause of the stellar line up (big, big Isbell fan...just saw a tremendous show of his a couple of weeks ago) as well as I am just too darn old for Bonnaroo anymore 
Anyways...looking forward to enjoying the  mountains, chilling out, enjoying some of Colorado's natural beauty and hearing some great tunes.
By the way, Thursday night is a new moon and the peak of the Perseid meteor shower...if it is a clear night, ought to be a good sky show,
