I've heard the same thing - that Sam holds the key.  I remember a Bela workshop at Elks Park a few years ago and when Bela was taking questions, someone asked if there would ever by an NGR reunion.  Bela's answer was "well, that isn't up to me.  I'd be up for it" or something to that effect.  So, if Bela is in, and we know Johnny C would be in (why not, right?) and if Pat Flynn is up for it, then Sam must be the one who isn't quite ready for it.  Let's cross our fingers, pray to Craig, and not put any pressure on Sam.  If he does it, it has to be because he wants it, not because we bugged him to do it.

But I agree that if it happens, it'll be on a Planet Bluegrass stage.  That would just be too dang much...

Does anyone here remember the ORIGINAL New Grass Revival? Of course Courtney is now pickin' in heaven, but Curtis is still around. Sam, John, Curtis Burch, and Courtney Johnson (Dr. Dobro).
Seems like most of you only know them with Pat and Bela.  I have all the OLD music and a lot of OLD photos, but I doubt they can be downloaded.  Plus, I have all those memories that keep me smilin' and coming back every year! Thumbs Up

Are Ya"ll aware that this actually happened at Merle Fest 2007, for at least one song? I'm pretty sure other folks were on stage at the time, but it happened all the same!

If I'm correct our own Ms. LuAnna was there to see and hear it all.
