We are all first time festival goers and are bringing our 6 and 8 year old boys.  I imagine we would like to set up in the back where shade tents are allowed, but I don't want to bring one that is too big.  Can someone give me a rec as to which tents are allowed or most common?

Thanks!

People use all sorts of shelters, including EZ-Up type pop-up shelters (usually 10x10) as well as Kelty Sunshade sorts of things.  The EZ-Ups do not block the view of folks behind, but are heavy/large and impossible to fly with.  The Sunshades tend to obstruct views from behind but are obviously lighter and travel more easily.  The established sunshade area is nice and friendly (and shady) the sound is great even in the back of the field.
