Right now the river is running fast and is closed to tubers and inflatable devices.  At least I still think it is.  Who know what it will be like in two weeks.  I have certainly never seen it like it is now for Rockygrass.
Kiddos beware.

I found out today that the river is indeed open to tubing again.  Yippee, that's great and hopefully water levels will drop more and our sleepy little river will return by Rockygrass week.

There is a beach at festival site and places to get in water.  My kids have swam in the st vrain since they were little.  If high I don't let them on it even though they are teenagers.  It is a great tube river when conditions are good.  Lots of places for wading and playing in the water too.  Meadow Park has had great places to swim  before the flood.  I think  that should be open.
