Being such a Telluride Veteran, it's strange being a camping virgin for Lyons!

The kids and I are going to camp on-site.  I'm counting on a friend who is in line to grab a tent spot for me.  If they don't I'm going to just be scrambling, and if I needed to could use this extra vehicle pass and convert my Yukon into a camper if I need to.

So, assuming I'm just trying to get into the cam[ground to find a pre-claimed spot, what time should I show up?   What time tonight is the line probably fully dealt with, and the stragglers can start getting in?

Its hard to say whether any changes at Bohn or PBG or in between are going to slow things down, but in years past you could drive right in no later than 7:30p.  However, at that point, if you are using the vehicle pass you'll probably have to wedge in somewhere out on the "driveway paths" in the vehicle area.  If in the non-vehicle area, you'll end up a little closer to the porta-potties than you probably want to be if your pal hasn't gotten a tarp down for you.  Good luck!
