A friend and I are moving forward with plans for car-free travel to Telluride.  Tentative idea is Greyhound to Grand Junction arriving Sunday the 15th, then pedaling south on Monday, Tuesday, and possibly part of Wednesday.  Bikes on Greyhound could be the hardest part of the whole thing.

We are laid back riders who will take it super slow on the big climbs and probably camp (unless you know hosts in GJ and Montrose).  We'd enjoy company so if you're interested in joining us PM me and I'll keep you posted on plans.

p.s. Amtrak's California Zephyr also stops in Grand Junction & it's typically easier to move bikes on the train vs. the bus.
