I wanted to say I'm sorry if I caused any issues with my defending of resale tickets at more than cost.  I'm a veteran of the scene, but this will be my first TBF and I think coming in here to defend scalping was probably not the best way to introduce myself to the forum.  Sorry again if I offended anyone, it's been a while since I was confronted with actual people who give a sh*t about keeping it respectful with ticket prices. I'm so used to people selling tickets in parking lots at shows at astronomical prices that I thought it had just become common practice over the years and I too adopted that philosophy.

I plan to learn and grow. Thanks everyone.  Cheers

Welcome to the festivarian lifestyle!  Yep, we're a little laid back here.  But we're also open to new ideas!

No problem. Once you love the festival and the people that attend it, you become a virtual part-owner and see things related to it in a different light. Here's to a different perspective.

Yes, Welcome. I think you may find that you have found a new home with us festivarians. At least we hope you do anyway.

Well said, sir. This isn't your average music community. While Telluride is still about the music, it's about so much more than just that. As Phil Lesh told the audience when Further played Missoula a few years ago (I imagine he tell a lot of audiences this, but the Missoula show is the only Further show I've been lucky enough to catch), this music really is about community. It's about celebrating life with a bunch of like minded individuals. It's about having as much fun as you'd like while helping others have as much fun as you're having. Plain and simple, it's about human kindness.

You certainly hit the hornets' nest on that one.  Live and learn.  As a twelve year Festivarian I have learned to avoid many of the taboo subjects on this forum.  We have a fine sense of etiquette, protocol and morality.

As an Indianapolis Colts season ticket owner, I beg you not to bad mouth Peyton or you may end up in the shark tank as well.

Other Hornet Nest discussions:

1.  Tarp line procedure
2.  Tarp size
3.  Dust / wind
4.  Lines for the ganga-la
5.  Chicago Cubs

Peace and love to you friend. Live and learn. This Fest is kept small for a reason. Like a big family reunion. Because once is not enough. So with each newbie a new seed is planted. Plan to be embraced not only by music but nature and friendship as well. A brotherhood  Cheers
