Published on YouTube on Sep 26, 2013 is 3-minute excerpt of Tony Rice speaking upon being inducted in the IBMA hall of fame. Tony shows us that he'd been working on recovering his voice after not having any after 19 years. He mentions his motivation is for Alison Krauss who is currently having voice problems. His voice sounds like it did from the eighties, truly a remarkable and touching moment. Tony also gives a special thanks to Sam Bush.

Here is an excerpt from my "newgrass compendium" describing my old soundman and taping days in the early 1970s

This was one of the most amazing and inspirational experiences I've ever seen. The room was electric.  Medal
