Very good Folkfest once again. My favorite was Ellis who only performed at the Wildflower Pavilion. I have never seen such a moving performance. Standing room only crowd with seemingly everyone leaving her show with a smile on their face. Sad thing is a high percentage of Festivarians probably weren't even aware that she was playing there. Definitely their loss as they missed a classic. Indicative of how well recieved her show was is the fact that she signed CDs and traded hugs for almost an hour after only playing for only about a 1/2 hour.

I agree. I didn't see her whole show but even my "sample" left me feeling uplifted. She is an irresistible live performer, absolutely genuine, and, from what I can see, one of the most highly-evolved human beings on the planet. Do your soul a favor and see her if you can. Main stage next year?
