Can anyone tell me the name of the song that the house band opened with on Sunday night? I think it may have been a Jimmy Rodgers song? TIA

Wasn't it "Eastbound and Down" from the movie "Smokey and the Bandit"?

Right initials, but the JR that sung the original was Jerry Reed.

My favorite that still brings a smile to my face is when they covered Spinal Tap.

Just curious. Many complained about the sound during last years House Band set. Any comments about the sound this year (2012)?

I thought it was MUCH better!  Thumbs Up

The sound was fine.

The sound issues were at the FirstGrass show, where the bass was
so oversaturated -- especially for Della Mae -- that instigated feedback
and a very unbalanced mix.
