The website advertises free parking nearby (for Lawson Hill campers).  How nearby is nearby?

Thanks,

I am not the best at judging distance but my memory is telling me that parking is roughly 100yds. Uphill both ways. There are two lots and the shuttle picks up at both. They let you drive down to the field to unload all your gear, last year they had a couple of wheelbarrows to help pack your things onto the field. It is a good place to camp. Thumbs Up

I will confirm that. It's about a 100 or so yard down hill switchback style curve. Fun on the bike  Thumbs Up. They let you pull down where they have about a dozen parking spots to load unload but be quick they fill w/ a few rv campers. Keep what you need need with you so in case you miss the bus from the parking lot you can catch it on the flip side of the camp.  There is an additional park lot by the service station and yes the bus stops there as well but I dont know how secure that side is. All in all Lawson "valley" is an awesome spot. Been there for a few. And yeah the wheelbarrows are very handy.
