Just saw this one, they would have been great for the line up, but they will be in montrose the week prior to the fest.  I am gonna check it out for sure.  Jimmie Dale Gilmore is an amazing West Texas songwriting and singing treasure, most well known from the Flatlanders and being Smokey in the Big Lebowski.  The Wronglers are a great San Francisco bluegrass band that include the man behind Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Warren Hellman.  I saw then at Old Settlers near Austin this past year and they were awesome.  They are focusing on trad tunes and their new album just came out.  Field Trip to Montrose on June 10!

The music on the site is just the wronglers.  The new album Heirloom Music is the one featuring Jimmie-highly recommended

I have loved Jimmy Dale for years! We were at Old Settler's this year, too, but only on Friday and Saturday. Wish Montrose, Colorado wasn't such a long drive from Texas, or we'd be there to see him (them).

We'll be there in Town Park for the annual bluegrass fest, though. Wave

It's not long now till we see you all again!
