Happy New Year to All!
Don't forget, we need folks to help with the Bloody Marys!  Deb needs tomato juice and vodka, etc.
 Cheers
We did go through about thirty gallons last year! Think there are a few folks in TP that like their cocktails!

Sounds pretty good so far, but somehow I don't envision many people eating oatmeal and drinking a bloody mary at the same meal.  LOL LOL LOL LOL
As far as chafing dishes go, why couldn't we scramble up a bunch of eggs and make a burrito bar with a side table with tortillas and wraps, shredded cheese, salsas, sour cream, cooked sausage and bacon, green chilies, black beans, maybe some chili for smotherin, and have a do it yourself burrito bar.  Raw eggs can be scrambled ahead of time and frozen, which would eliminate a bunch of shells to have to dispose of, and even the sausage could be pre-cooked and crumbled, frozen, then reheated.
I think it would be a smaller turnout as many people won't even be there yet on Monday.

Kinda torn. Like the southwestern breakfast bar idea, but do love a pot lick so I get to try other folks good stuff! Thumbs Up
I'm game, as long as it is easier on all and more social. Not stuck in the kitchen and able to mingle is important! The includes the bloody mary lady from tuscon.
But, I do feel the camp breakfast thing is something we started and is a great addition to the pre-fest activities. Think Monday is the day to do it, but give me some votes so we can go with the masses as to the actual format for the Monday Camp Breakfast! Thumbs Up
Hope all had as good of New Years Day as U did! Didn't do shit! Had some great food (love to cook!) and football and booze. And, GO BOILERS! How about that game! My Loved Boilers are for real this year!
 Cheers Cheers Cheers Cheers Cheers

Just a reminder about the poll function here on the forum...

You can make a poll and get votes that way.

I'd suggest doing an easier, faster food without so many parts to assemble.  Why not a good old fashioned pancake breakfast?

The bloody marys last year were great too, but do bloodys and pancakes go together??  Pancakes and Mimosas?

Pancakes and mimosas, I'll second that!  Thumbs Up
Then you can have a wild variety of pancake flavors:
blueberries, apples & bananas, strawberries.... and then the different syrups, and bacon on the side... mmmm  :)
