When to arrive for the onsite camping line?

For those who have parked in the onsite camping line prior to the festival opening, is there a big difference in showing up sunday vs. monday vs. tuesday?  thanks.

The normal diehards come early every year but the bulk of the line shows up on Wednesday and Thursday.
They are charging to come early now so take a look at the rules on the Rockygrass webpage. They have a line up policy in there.

Can anyone confirm that it's ok to leave your car unattended in line? If we show up on Sunday, will we be able to pay someone the full fee for all of the days in line?

This was posted today on Facebook, but I not sure it clears things up, whether to arrive Sunday or Monday.  Hopefully, they will clarify.

Festival onsite campers will line-up in Bohn Park beginning Monday (7/19) at 4pm. More info at: http://bit.ly/9eleBu

I though the .pdf that the link takes you to is somewhat confusing for Rockygrass On-Site (not Academy) Festivarians. 

Rule 1 is: that you may not line up for on-site camping at Bohn Park until Monday, July 19th.  PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLIER!

Rule 2 states: Cars will line up and receive numbers, they will be charged the following:  Sunday $40; Monday $30, etc.

So, could we line up as early as 2:00 pm Sunday, after the Academy leaves the park, or on Monday sometime after 4:00?

Onsite campers for the festival are not allowed to begin lining up until Monday, July 19 at 4pm.  Rule 2 should not have listed a price for a Sunday arrival (which is not allowed). That is now updated in the PDF file.  Sorry for the confusion.

There's a huge bicycle race in Lyons this weekend (Sat/Sun) which is requiring us to change the line policies for this year. Bohn Park will be the main staging area for the race, so we won't be able to use it for the onsite line until Monday.

No doubt - - - and I know from people already in line from this afternoon that it doesn't seem that the 4:00 pm "rule" was particularly followed by festivarian campers or the planet staff - - I don't know for sure, but my buddies, who showed up at a little before 4:00 pm tell me that when they got there, there were already about 40 vehicles already lined up, they scored a spot somewhere at the end of the second line.

Now, this isn't sour grapes or anything, but the point my buddies made was this - - they followed the rules, didn't get there REALLY early, say like noon or 2:00 pm or so as not to be nuisance to the Town of Lyons or the Planet staff.

And what happens??? The lot is already filling up and had been for some time previous to 4:00 pm. Doesn't seem like anyone really gives a hoot, pre-festival messages be damned - - like, who didn't see this coming.
