Yep, we're doing another free FirstGrass show this year.  5-8pm.  Sarah Jarosz followed by 18 South.  Should be a great way to get the festival started...

Just Saw Sarah & 18 South 2 weeks ago.
Both Lyle Lovett & Patty Loveless, who played after, said 18's singer (Randall?) was one of their favorite songwriters, and they did his tunes.
As to Sarah, more women with banjos I always say!

John Randall (Stewart) was in Sam Bush's band for a number of years. He left maybe 5? years ago?  He is an amazing guitar player  pickin and like most bluegrass musicians, one heckuva nice guy.

You Betcha on the ladies!  Thumbs Up
Allison Brown, Sarah, Abigail Washburn! Triple threat right there!

I like female banjo players because they don't stop playing when they start singing!  LOL
