Just a little thing to think about... Consider using an E-Z up or other "see- through" sunshade on festival grounds instead of the KELTY's. I know it looks like the festival is sponsored by Kelty or something, but there are much better choices.. 1st- the Kelty's block YOUR view plus everyone around you, 2nd- the Kelty's go airborne easily , 3rd- the way the Kelty's are shaped and tied down make it almost impossible to get through the Kelty Forest.-much easier to just say excuse me and pass through an EZ-up..We used a Kelty for a few years but will never go back.

Love it, Debbie.

I wish we could stick the Kelty's and the shade chairs back behind the beer tent and they could all block each other's view all weekend.

Not that I don't get the value of shade, especially for families with kids. But those folks do seem to intentionally create an impenetrable wall - which is what I'd do to keep drunk Festivarians from stumbling onto my baby (if I had one).

I wish the Planet would create a walkway around the east side of the Kelty's so that folks coming from the hula zone could get straight to the green rooms.

I don't know why but last year seemed to be the first year that we noticed this or it was much worse than ever before.... PB- can we get a walkway this year?

ROFL. You should have seen the barricade we built one night the year my kids were a newborn and a 1 yr old.. We collected all the chairs, blankets and backpacks we could ( borrowed from neighbors etc)and made a little fort.. Then, we covered in lots of light up stuff.. Of course, it just seemed to attract people to come on over and try and see what it was...lol
