Greetings Festivarians!

Oskar Blues in Lyons will be once again hosting the Pre-RockyGrass Hike4Cancer Benefit Concert on Thursday July 23 at 8 PM.

The Pete Kartsounes Band will be performing 2 sets of original music with MANY special guests.  Last year there were over 20 folks up on stage for the encore!  There will be a raffle and a silent auction and there is a nominal donation at the door.

All proceeds from the show will go to "There With Care", a Front Range charity that supports children and families facing critical illness.

Pete & the band have some great new tunes and he just took second place in the 2009 Telluride Troubadour contest.  You can read about this year's hike & events at Hike4Cancer.org.

Find your campsite on Thursday evening and then head on over to Oskar Blues to raise money for a great cause and listen to fantastic original music.
