Following Bevin's lead, I figured it aint never too early to start planning for Festy season.

So here is your invite to our invitation only Fourth of July Bluegrass Picking Party and Feast in Conifer, Colorado.  Past events have been spectacular musical extravaganzas and this year is shaping up to be a high watermark.

Actually we get things started on Friday July 3rd with two sets by Lyons own Spring Creek! http://www.springcreekbluegrassband.com

Saturday will be an old fashioned 4th of July all day picking party and Barbecue.  Think horseshoe pits, three legged sack races, and lots of good food.  This being Colorado, vegetarians and carnivores will be well represented.  As of this moment, Benny "Burle" Galloway (and Friends?!) will be headlining on the Fourth.

We have lots of flat land on which to pitch your tents, Bluegrass Brunch will be served on Saturday and Sunday, as well as feasting all day on the Fourth.  Should the weather be uncooperative we also have lots of indoor space.

Lots of picking will be happening so bring your instruments and plan to spend the weekend. Don't miss Spring Creek on Friday July 3rd!

Anyone else interested? Its gonna be a hoot!  Burle's mystery band seems to be ALL Ringers.  BTW, Burle and friends will do two sets during the afternoon of the Fourth ( plus lotsa late night picking on the 3rd), and then they will boogie north to play an evening show near the St Vrain. We will keep picking till elk come home.

help us break in the new Volcano...
