LVJ Camping with Vehicle Pass Question

Another question about LVJ camping...
When camping at LVJ with a vehicle pass, will be be able to have the car parked close to the actual tent site? Or does the vehicle pass just mean you get to park at the LVJ and may have to walk in to your campsite (...so vehicle not immediately next to tent site)?

Along that same line... If wanting / needing to have vehicle at the tent site, does that mean really needing to get at LVJ at 6AM to try and get the best site available?
