Hello Festivarians!  Wave

Gearing up for year 6 this year (and first time in Town Park!) Quick question for everyone though, my partner and I would like to bring our tandem bike down for some cruising along the river path in the mornings but not sure what to do with it during the festival though. Since the tandem doesn't quite fit in our tent, do you all think it would be safe to leave it locked up in the bike corral right outside the gates? Do any of you bring bikes and have a safe way to keep them stored? Any friendly shops around town that might let us put her inside overnight? Thanks y'all!

I’ve brought either my mountain bike or my cruiser to town park with me the last 7 years, and both have been safe locked to a tree in camp. From what I can tell, most locals don’t even bother to lock their bikes at the corrals around town. It’s a very safe place to bring and store bikes. If you’re worried about the elements, throw a tarp over it to keep it dry.

Thank you for the heads up Skubes! Sounds like we'll be good to go to lock it up at camp.

Skubes is right. I bring mine every year and have had no problem. My nice bike usual gets locked, but my older mtn bike has been left unlocked at rando camps after too much crunchy frog. Makes it a game the next morning figuring out where I left it. Even left it in front of brown dog all night unlocked, still there with a bunch of other unlocked bikes in the morning. Pretty safe place Thumbs Up

I hear you leave a trail of crawfish so you can find it the next morning... :hop
