Bringing my Mandolin this year for Telluride and was wondering if anyone had tips for instrument care with the temperature fluctuating so much between day and night as well as any effect the altitude may have on instruments. This will be my first time in Telluride with an instrument and I want to make sure I don't damage it.

Good case, when not playing day or night keep in the tent, if its night and your not playing keep it in your sleeping bag, bed.

i can tell you what not to do. Dont leave it in a tent that gets hot during the day, Did that last year and the binding came off my guitar. Better to leave it in a case and outside in the shade during the day.
