Hi all!  So i have been connecting with someone on this forum about purchasing tickets...it seems totally legit but I wonder if there is any way to verify that the tickets have only been printed off once?  Can I transfer them to my name or somthing along those lines?  Like I said it seems like a legit transaction with a nice guy but my Mom always said 'trust your neighbors, brand your cows' and she was a vegetarian!  Thanks for any insight!

I feel like the name switch thing only works with will call, but it’s possible that the purchaser could call and somehow cancel their own ticket / change it to will call in your name, and then you could call to verify. Worth calling Planet Bluegrass to find out! They’re awesome and always helpful, within reason.

The Planet will change them to will call in your name. You can do a 3-way call with your seller and the Planet. But do it soon, I.e. tomorrow, because everyone is headed down to Telluride shortly.

Another idea:  ask us!   We vets mostly know each other and have learned to trust the ones we know.  We’d gladly vouch for someone if they’re a old timer.  but if u have the time to get it done, going thru the Planet will give u peace of mind.

Thanks all for the input!  So I met with the seller, he was great, as expected from folks on this forum, and we just called Plant Bluegrass.  They transfered the tix over...it was easy peasy! Now I am packing for Telluride!! Woohoo!
