I live in Boulder and would take it instead of trying to find a designated driver or maybe hitch.

I would encourage you to write RTD a very polite email stating that such a route added during festival would be much appreciated/ used.

Here is another good option for you...join the Bluegrass by Bike ride in from Boulder.  if the response is good gear transportations will be easy.  A group of us will ride in early Thursday morning for the 15 mile ride.  Check out the other post regarding this too, it would be great if you could join us in leaving the car out of beautiful (and small) Lyons!

With these type of venues RTD has not been involved unless it involves a great deal more people.  With the smaller events, under 25,000 people, we are restricted as to the type of service we can provide under the Federal Charter Guidelines.  Since we receive federal funding, the feds do not want us taking away business from private companies that can provide the service.  Over the years I have worked with numerous venues in connecting them up with private companies that can provide service.  You might want to contact the organizers and ask if they have any plans for transportation.  As these events grow, transportation comes onto their radar screen.

Part of a recent email to me.  Looks like Rockygrass has to be a lot bigger unfortunately.

Is there a mtn. bike ride there?  That would be really cool.
