Here to share that Wendy Thatcher, one of the women pioneers of bluegrass, recently passed away. She was an integral part of a band called Eddie Adcock and the II Generation, based in Ohio, that included, among others at times Jimmy Gaudreau and Tony Rice. If you check out a book called "Pretty Good for a Girl: Women in Bluegrass", by Murphy Hicks Henry, 2013, she devotes a section to Wendy.
