Hello fellow fesitvarians!

Does anybody know if the car line up for Riverbend camping is as serious as it is for onsite? I am wondering if I showed up Thursday morning would I be able to get a decent spot, or is it more like onsite where people are lining their cars up a week in advance?

Thanks, Justin

Hi,

Folks parked or got dropped off and got in a line similar to the tarp run!
Bottom line: get there early and run fast to get your favorite spot!  Wink

See ya around the Bend, Karen

We called a couple of weeks ago to inquire about the same thing, and they said no line.  I'm not entirely sure what to do because we've always done on-site camping, but this year we have our 9-month-old, so we wanted something a little quieter....

Just to chime in from Planet Bluegrass...

We ask that everyone arrive around 9am; no lines and no mad rush please. On our end, we will not be organizing any car lines or handing out line numbers.

From our website: A portion of the western-most edge of the River Bend Campground will be designated as 'family camping' with quiet evening hours.

We look forward to seeing everyone here soon!
