Hi- My son and I plan to be there this summer. I have not been in 15 years, but went for 4 years in a row back then. Can't wait to return! Does anyone know if you can get to Telluride from Denver Airport without renting a car??

The only way I know of is to fly or take the bus to Montrose, and then take the shuttle to Telluride. Flower

You've also done the right thing by stickin' your thumb out on the Hitchin' A Ride section of this forum. Can't wait to see who stops in and offers you and Dylan (he's 11) a ride!  Thumbs Up

The amtrak ride from denver to grand junction is amazing and there is a shuttle from junction to Telluride. I never riden the shuttle. Plus there are a whole bunch o festivarians coming through Grand Junction around that time.
