1st time to the Fest and camping in Warner Field...leaving from Denver after work (5pm-ish) Wed.  Debating on driving all the way or stopping somewhere close to get a room for the night. 

Any recommendations?  Would it be a hassle showing up late at night or is it even possible??  If not is there a specific time the camp grounds open for arrival Thursday?

Any info is greatly appreciated....Thanks in advance!!

Yes you can arrive any time you like, but the logistics of getting to Telluride, unloading your car at midnight, taking said car up to Mountain Village to park and then having to ride the gondola back to town (I think it stops running at 2am) would lead me to consider getting a hotel room for the night instead and waking up darn early on Thursday to get to town and stake out a spot.

Thanks Tupelohoney! That is the way we were leaning....looks like we'll probably get an early start out of Montrose Thursday morning.

the link for Camping Info on the site has been down since yesterday....
