So all my life I've had my ( older) muso friends tell me, yeah but you had to be at Woodstock....and I've gone to countless gigs and heaps of festivals and it still didn't ring true. What was the big deal?

But now I get it. You have to be at TBGF to get it. Life changing and affirming

Back home in Australia wow, I'm missing the vibe a lot

It was a pleasure meeting you even though we didn't spend very much time together.
I'm glad you had a great time, and hope to see you back sometime in the future.
 Thumbs Up Flower Cheers

I had told my wife for years about Telluride, about the beauty and the grandeur of the place, about the quaintness of the town, about how, no matter how long it has been since you were there last, you were always welcomed home with a hug and a hearty "Welcome Home". There really is no place like home. Well in 2012 I brought her to Telluride for the Festival. Her words were the same as yours.  WOW, now I can really see, and understand what you were talking about. This year as we listened to 90 % of the Festival on KOTO radio (koto.org), she again said, wow you don't really get Telluride until you have been there. Hope to meet you at another TBF, but you will always have the memory of your first! Pirate Pirate

I was just thinking this morning I am at 60 the very same girl of 16. A girl who believes in freedom and love and expression and the good in others. A hippie girl as always referred to in the day, granola girl twas me and still.

I am reminded of how good folks can be and my faith is always renewed in others before, during and after Fest. It does  have the vibe of love and acceptance and I too can feel this deep connection. Music speaks to everyone and we respond in kind.

As some of us get older I look around and  think we are on a beautiful journey together and do not even realize it yet. Us all of us collectively are part of the sum Medal

Thank you for traveling all that way AF!!!!! Medal Medal I knew you could not eat just one Flower
Next year we will find one another LOL

Thank you everyone, you captured it perfectly

In a crazy world where things we always believed seem to be under attack, where life can be challenging, where we deal with horror and disappointmenton a daily basis, it is so great to  find reaffirmation of goodness, peace and cooperation when we get together to celebrate the music.

It was a wonderful experience to share the joy, the friendship and the vibe. Some of the most interesting, kindest, funniest folk I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and joining.

I will definitely be back, you couldn't keep me away, TBGF is very special.
