Whew! What great shows! The played their ENTIRE upcoming album (look for it the 26th) and a good 2/3 of their first and only other album . . . it was absolutely amazing, and I can't WAIT to see them again at TBF and rockygrass! Got to meet em all again after the show, and they were all nice enough to sign my tweeeeeeed. Oh and, chris signed my mandolin of course . . .

it's pretty unbelievable, as you can expect from the masterminds behind the music. there are four "movements" as they call them, appropriately titled 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and fourth movement . . . hehe. As you can imagine, each movement is pretty long, and really takes the listener on a type of journey. it's absolutely, insanely, awesome. There are some obvious links to Chris's experience with divorce, and some other pretty organic feelings like that . . . i guess i'll leave the rest for you to interpret. oh, and like you haven't looked it up already on whatever that music thing you have is  . . . pfffhhh  Thumbs Up

So she is alive...  Wave

Just listened to the 4 movements... its pretty awesome musically, but I don't think I really caught a single lyric throughout the entire thing... lots of words were sang, but none of them were processed when I listened to it. I'll give it another go tomorrow I guess.

I should perhaps be a bit more clear and say that when I listen to certain kinds of music it takes me a long time to hear the vocal parts as words and not melodic structure. Great album though...
