I just Googled Health Food Stores in Montrose, Colorado. Try it! Looks like there are several fine options.

It will depend on your arrival in the Montrose/Ridgewy/Telluride area, but there are several Farmer's Markets as we get into the end of Spring and the time of Solstice. They all have info on-line in one form or another.

Don't know which way you are arriving (flying/driving) but no one should discount the greater Grand Junction area for produce. Actually, the Saturday of Land Rush there is Farmer's Market in Telluride and tons of produce comes up from Grand Junction. I can personally tell you that the Bing Cherries are the BEST  Medal I've ever had.

Having said all that.....
Have you ever in your life eaten a "Killer Flank Steak", or savored a serving of "Sister's Dumplings". TBF Vendors are wonderful and have something for everyone.  Thumbs Up

I typically go to Vitamin Cottage / Natural Grocers next to Sports Authority (same mall as Target).    They're a chain, but have a comprehensive supplement selection ... as well as extensive pre-packaged bulk items (nuts, dried fruit, grains, etc.), organic produce, and most "health food" packaged items you'd expect.  No deli/bakery and definitely not the size of Whole Foods, but not a tiny mom and pop selection either.   They're all over the front range and there's one in Grand Junction too ... same stripmall as Cabellas if I recall.
