Hi,
We are trying to decide where to board our dogs and was wondering if any one has had good experiences with a particular kennel in or near Telluride? Any info about kennels would be much appreciated
thanks

When I lived in Grand Junction, We took our dog to Orchard Mesa Vet, the have a kennel/boarding also. The always treated "Jack" like one of their own.  He didn't seem to mind going anyways.  I haven't heard of any others closer. Tom do you know of any in the Montrose area?

There's a few in the Montrose/Delta area and I'll post the information on them later.

I've been waiting for Courtney to respond, cause she found a good one that will come to Town Park and pick them up. She used them last year, but I can't remember what the name was. Medal

I thought we had a thread about dog sitting last year, but it must have gotten deleted. EEK!

I booked with Wash 'n Wash Dogs in Redvale (60 miles SW of Telluride):

Lane Conrad
lane@washnwatchdogs.com

They have great rates and even a "good dog discount"! (Not too sure my punk will qualify for this.)

Tom, Courtney's boarding her dog here as well.  :)

bummer - they require spayed/nuetered dogs..... Good move for everyone but Mika the festidog. She might just get bred this September, I'm thinking purebred working dogs are in enough demand that her only litter of puppies will fetch enough money to give her a lifetime health care plan.

Mika might just have to go to the Dad kennel in Flagstaff, he could use a companion for a few days right?   LOL

We'll look at this place for 2009.

 Cheers Cheers Cheers Cheers
