Is cell phone coverage good there?  Meeting other friends who are arriving at different times...just want to make sure we will be able to connect.

thanks for any insight.

I found cell coverage to be fair in town.  A couple bars (Verizon), but always able to connect when at the festival grounds and around Telluride.  Nothing at Mary E, but not sure about Lawson?  You should be fine when you're in town.  :)

Once people start arriving, though, data speeds slow to a crawl.  Text messages may take several minutes to go through.  Forget about emailing pics, etc, from the festival site.  Free wi-fi available at the library. Thumbs Up

The major carriers do fine, Verizon, Sprint & AT&T, but the lesser carriers sometimes get shut out on coverage when the booster antenna gets set up mid-week.

Yes, we found coverage adequate also but go to the library for the free wifi and send emails if there is some thing that you really want to go through!..
But you will be having too much fun for call anyway!
Emergency calls can be sent to Planet Bluegrass or the sheriff's office and they will announce on the stage, they are super good about that.

With music in our lives we are able to express ourselves in so many ways, with instruments, vocals, dance and movement. This can be done solo or with others. Music is not only entertainment, it is a way of life.
