I have been waiting to drop in and say hi, and I couldn't think of a better time (having just found a spot with electricity).  It's been a harrowing few days here, and many are hurting....if any are interested I have an email address below where you can find info about sending help and supplies.  Every bit helps, and I know festivarians love to lend a hand.

I am a newby, and have been waiting to make it to this festival for a long time...and after this week, I need it now more than ever!  I can't wait to dance some of this away.  I'm driving cross country and heading to the fest by myself, and I look forward to seeing and meeting you all there!

Jimmy,
We're SO GLAD you checked in with the Festivarian Family!

Where ya camping buddy?

Understand the electric is out, but how's the homestead? Thank for the link to the local Chamber of Commerce. From a Nashville standpoint, we know every little bit helps!  Thumbs Up

Hang in there, June is coming fast!  Cheers

We are right in the middle of everything, but our homestead is good.  I talked to some workers today who said that the tornado picked up on one side of my house, skipped an apartment complex and us, and put down right next door.  It just doesn't get luckier than that.  Unfortunately, not everyone has been as fortunate.  My wife and I are housing two families  right now who lost everything, and there are similar stories throughout T-Town.

I'm camping at the High School.  Before the tornado I was one of the SOOOOO many looking for a T-Park ticket, but at this point i'd just be happy to lay my head down anywhere after a long day of Bluegrass....

Thanks so much for your help (and reply).  Every day gets better, but we're beginning to suffer from lack of focus..other things in the news such as floods etc have understandably taken focus.  However, we still need a lot of help...CNN actually said Tuscaloosa had "recovered"...I guess when they stop talking about you, you are recovered.

CNN doesn't properly understand the word "recovered". Nashville has had that experience with them also.  Rolleyes
