Meadow Park camping question

Hi all,

Being new transplants to the Boulder area, my family is looking forward to our first RockyGrass.

Question on setting up at Meadow Park: I understand that you can set up camp there starting on Monday (tomorrow!) Is it cool/safe/advisable to set up a couple tents and then leave completely until Friday? I'd hate to have my tents stolen, and I definitely don't want to breach etiquette or tradition on my first fest!
