Where to park with vehicle pass at lvj?

Hi there,
Just wondering how does the vehicle pass work at laverne? I bought camping and vehicle pass. Do you park by your tent spot or is there a separate area reserved for parking at laverne Johnson? I am a first timer, single mom with 2 kids in tow, hoping to sn :)ag a spot in the family area. Is that space generally hard to come by? Someone told me to grab a spot early but I don't have that luxury and I'd rather not stress and just go with the flow of whatever is left when we arrive on Friday. Any info or pictures of what it looks like would be awesome. Wondering generally how far tent will be from where we park, etc.
